"The Macs" Fans Online

Join in the Alloway 1759 celebrations, a unique event to commemorate Robert Burns’s birth. The Macdonald Brothers will start us off on our 5k stroll around Ayr and will entertain us on our return. Why not dress up as your favourite Burns character or indeed as the great bard himself? Entry £5 or £15 for family of four. All proceeds to ACS. The Alloway 1759 event also features fiddlers, poetry recitals, a farmers market and horse-drawn carriage rides to really make you feel you’re back in the day of Burns. The new Robert Burns Birthplace Museum will also be open.

The walk starts (at 12pm) and finishes at Burns Cottage, Alloway, Ayr where Burns themed entertainment will take place from 1pm till 3pm.
